Thank you for attending our Christmas Open House on Thursday, November 3rd! It was so nice to bring this event back after a two year hiatus.
We sincerely hope that you took pleasure in seeing and walking through our Christmas wonderland and that you enjoyed our holiday décor demonstrations.
Our thanks and appreciation goes out to Open Arms Mission for giving everyone such a warm welcome when they arrived and for collecting food and monetary donations during the event. A big thank you to Jack for demonstrating how to create stunning, European floral designs and to Kristen from Luxury Fire Canada for showing us how we can enhance our indoor and outdoor living spaces with table top fire bowls. Special thanks to the talented musicians, Marcela, Luis, Gordon and George, who performed Christmas music to get everyone into the holiday spirit. We would also like to thank M&M Food Market and DeVries Fruit Farm for providing delicious festive treats and fresh apple cider.

If you’re interested in attending our Ladies Night on Thursday, November 17th from 6 to 9 p.m., here’s what you can expect.
Our designers will be sharing tips and tricks that will help you take your holiday décor up a notch. More specifically, we will be teaching you how to create porch pots that suit your style, whether you prefer something natural looking, glitzy and glamorous, or whimsical.
Have you always wanted to learn how to make a bow? Now’s your chance! We will walk you through our bow-making process here at Vermeer’s so you can feel confident making your own bows at home.
During Ladies Night, you can count on our florists to show you how to make your home even more festive this holiday season with fresh flowers.
Deck the halls with holiday houseplants! We will be highlighting houseplants that will add colour and interest to your home during the Christmas season.
Lights, candles, action! We will be demonstrating how to use battery operated candles and mini lights to create a cozy Christmas atmosphere in your home.
Do you plan on having guests over for dinner during the holidays? Prepare to be inspired by our Christmas table setting demonstration!
Demonstrations will be repeated throughout the evening to ensure that you won’t miss anything. Don’t worry, after attending all of these demonstrations you will still have time to shop and take advantage of our exclusive Ladies Night sales!
Attendees will receive 20% off Christmas décor! The sale includes ornaments, picks, Christmas tabletop decorations, lanterns, rolls of ribbon, artificial wreaths, artificial swags, artificial Christmas trees, boxed Christmas lights and string lights, battery operated candles, etc. The sale excludes fresh greens, fresh trees, porch pots, plant material, cut flowers and floral arrangements, custom work, etc.
For one night only, all clothing is 30% off! The sale includes tops, bottoms, dresses, hats, scarves, etc. Accessories, like purses and jewelry, are not included in the sale. All clothing sales are final.
Be sure to check out our special porch package! The package includes a Dwarf Alberta Spruce, a decorative plastic pot and a set of warm white micro-LED string lights for only $39.99! Our porch pot experts will be demonstrating how to spruce up your front porch this Christmas using this package.

Tickets can be purchased both in-store and online for $30 each. Ladies Night tickets are non-refundable and cannot be purchased over the phone.
If you are purchasing Ladies Night tickets online, please select the ‘local pickup’ shipping option at checkout, not delivery. Tickets will not be delivered to you. You also do not need to pick them up. Your online order email confirmation is your ticket/entry into Ladies Night. If you are unsure if your online order went through, please contact [email protected].
The last day to purchase tickets both in-store and online is Wednesday, November 16th. Additional tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the event.
Please note that we will be closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 17th to get ready for Ladies Night. Doors for Ladies Night open right at 6 p.m. If you have purchased a ticket online, please bring a printed or an emailed copy of your online order for check in. If you have purchased a ticket in-store, please bring the physical Ladies Night ticket that you received at the time of purchase.
