Mark your calendars! The Niagara Bonsai Show is back on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free with no tickets or RSVP required!

Come to admire a unique collection of bonsai trees cared for and cultivated by members of the Niagara Bonsai Society. Spend the day learning about the art of bonsai by attending informative demonstrations and chatting with members.

Demonstration schedule:

Bonsai Care (10:30 A.M.)

Learn the essentials of pruning, wiring, and caring for bonsai.

Bonsai Specimen Selection & Repotting (2 P.M.)

Discover how to select the best garden centre specimen and repot it for long-term success.

For one day only, bonsai trees and bonsai pots will be 15% off on Saturday, September 19th! It is the perfect time to start your bonsai journey or expand your collection.

Join us for Books & Blooms on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. as we gather in the greenhouse to discuss our latest book pick, connect, and enjoy light refreshments.

This time, we are diving into The Thursday Murder Club, a cozy mystery novel by Richard Osman. The story follows four retirees who meet weekly to investigate unsolved cold cases, only to find themselves thrust into the middle of their very first live investigation. The book has also been adapted into a major Netflix film starring Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, and Ben Kingsley.

Non-refundable eTickets are $20 plus tax and must be purchased below prior to the event.

• Please read The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman in your preferred format (physical copy, eBook, audiobook, etc.) before the event.
• Physical copies of the book are available for purchase in-store at Vermeer’s, as well as at Coles at the Seaway Mall in Welland.
