Nursery Stock (Trees, Shrubs & Evergreens)

If a tree, shrub, or evergreen dies within 12 months of purchase, it can be returned. If we have the same tree, shrub, or evergreen in stock, the amount that was paid for the guaranteed nursery stock (regular or sale price) can be used toward a replacement plant. If we do not have the same tree, shrub, or evergreen in stock and the dead plant cannot be replaced, a gift card will be issued for the amount that was paid for the guaranteed nursery stock (regular or sale price). No cash refund. Please note that replacement plants are not guaranteed. This Garden Club guarantee is subject to the presentation of an original receipt (physical receipt or Garden Club history) and the dead nursery stock. No photographs of dead nursery stock will be accepted. Vermeer’s is not responsible for damage caused by acts of God, animals, rodents, chemicals, fertilizer, or improper watering.

Vines, Broadleaf Evergreens (Rhodos, Azaleas, Holly, etc.), Roses & Small Fruit Bushes

Vines, broadleaf evergreens, roses, and small fruit bushes that did not make it can be returned until October 31st of the year they were purchased. If we have the same vine, broadleaf evergreen, rose or small fruit bush in stock, the amount that was paid for the guaranteed nursery stock (regular or sale price) can be used toward a replacement plant. If we do not have the same vine, broadleaf evergreen, rose or small fruit bush in stock and the dead plant cannot be replaced, a gift card will be issued for the amount that was paid for the guaranteed nursery stock (regular or sale price). No cash refund. Please note that replacement plants are not guaranteed. Perennials

Customers may return perennials up to 10 days after purchase for a full refund. Perennials must be in good condition, unless the reason for the return is at the fault of our garden centre. In order to receive a full refund, perennials must be in their original pot and growing medium. They must be returned in-store. If a perennial dies within 30 days of purchase, it can be returned. If we have the same perennial in stock, the amount that was paid for the guaranteed perennial (regular or sale price) can be used toward a replacement plant. If we do not have the same perennial and the dead plant cannot be replaced, a gift card will be issued for the amount that was paid for the guaranteed nursery stock (regular or sale price). No cash refund. Please note that replacement plants are not guaranteed. This perennial guarantee is subject to the presentation of an original receipt (physical receipt or Garden Club history) and the dead perennial. Vermeer’s is not responsible for damage caused by acts of God, animals, rodents, chemicals, fertilizer or improper watering.

Annuals

Annuals are final sale. If any annuals you have purchased from us are showing signs of stress or struggle, please reach out to us via phone (905-735-5744) or email. Tropicals

Customers may return tropical plants up to 10 days after purchase for a full refund. Tropical plants must be in good condition, unless the reason for the return is at the fault of our greenhouse. Tropical plant returns as a result of customer negligence will not be accepted. Tropical plants must be in their original pot and growing medium. They must be returned in-store and the original receipt (physical receipt or Garden Club history) must be presented. All bonsais are final sale. All sale/clearance tropical plants are final sale.

Soil

Customers may return bags of soil, mulch, stone, etc. up to 10 days after purchase for a full refund. The bags must be unopened and the original receipt (physical receipt or garden Club history) must be presented.

Pots & Giftware

Customers may return pots and giftware up to 30 days after purchase for a full refund. All tags must be attached and the original receipt (physical receipt or Garden Club history) must be presented.

Fashion

Customers may return fashion (clothing, purses, scarves, jewelry, etc.) up to 10 days after purchase for exchange or store credit only. In the case of store credit, a gift card will be issued for the amount that was paid for the merchandise. Fashion must be unworn and in good condition. All tags must be attached and the original receipt (physical receipt or Garden Club history) must be presented. Earrings are final sale.

Floral, Custom Work, Gift Cards & Clearance
